Memories of Melton Ross and New Barnetby

Written in 2004

Melton Ross and New Barnetby are two tiny hamlet sized villages which are combined  together to form one very small village which nestles in a valley in the Lincolnshire Wolds.  Only a railway line separates the two villages.

What follows is a mixture of childhood memories, family history and personal opinion.  Never having been politically correct and believing that the millions of fine people who gave their lives, in order that I might have freedom of speech, should not have died in vain, I have expressed my opinions freely.  You may not agree with some or all of these opinions, but take a stroll with me into the past.  I hope you enjoy it.

If, after reading these memories you feel that you would like to make any comment on them, please feel free to sign my guest book.  If you prefer to make your comments privately, please e-mail me.  Thank you, Don.
